Job summary

Transport for NSW in Sydney is seeking a Senior Manager Public Transport Systems & Technology for a temporary opportunity up to 22 months. You will lead the Public Transport Technology Delivery team, overseeing systems, applications and data platforms that support NSW's public transport services.

You will manage seven direct reports, drive governance, integration and vendor management, and ensure system performance, security and resilience. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex technology platforms and delivery of improvements.
• Strong expertise in enterprise systems, data integration, governance and vendor management.
• Industry certifications in IT service management or project delivery are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Public Transport Technology Delivery team with strategic oversight of systems, applications and data platforms.
• Provide governance, planning and oversight of technology improvements delivering performance and resilience.
• Direct seven direct reports and drive a high‑performance culture with ongoing innovation.
• Advise senior leaders on technology strategy, system performance and future capability needs.
