Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council in New South Wales seeks a seasoned Traffic and Public Assets Manager to lead the Infrastructure Directorate, guiding strategic direction and operational performance of traffic, transport and public assets.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets, and build strong relationships with government agencies, developers and the community to deliver safe, accessible and connected public spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical or infrastructure teams.
• Experience with traffic, transport and public assets.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments including government and community.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
