Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking an experienced Manager Fleet and Facilities to lead and deliver asset management, fleet operations and facilities across the council. You will drive strategic asset management, oversee budgets and capital works, and shape service delivery for community assets.

Reporting to the General Manager Organisational Services, you will lead a diverse team, influence stakeholders and champion a whole-of-life approach to assets for long-term community sustainability.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline, and/or significant experience in asset, fleet or facilities management.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams, driving performance, collaboration and staff development.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, strategic planning, continuous improvement and capital project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial planning, operational planning and delivering organisational outcomes.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical and change management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and deliver results in a complex environment.
