Job summary

City of Canning is seeking an experienced Service Lead Leisure Facilities to provide strategic and operational leadership across two Leisureplexes. You will drive performance, customer experience and continuous improvement while empowering teams to deliver outstanding services for the community.

You will lead a diverse portfolio covering aquatics, health and fitness, community programs and facility operations, reporting to Recreation & Leisure Services and partnering with stakeholders to achieve

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Sport and Recreation Management or Business Administration.
• Proven leadership of a multi-disciplinary or cross-functional team.
• Strong commercial and strategic thinking with budget and project management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting to stakeholders.
• Current pool and safety certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop coordinators and teams to deliver customer-focused services.
• Develop and deliver annual budget, service plan and KPIs.
• Grow membership, attendance and revenue through programs and marketing.
• Oversee contracts, facilities and asset management.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and industry trends.
