Job summary

SiteMinder is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Projects to drive high-priority cross-functional initiatives and complex programmes. You will partner with the COO and Strategic Operations to turn ambiguous goals into executable plans and deliver end-to-end outcomes across multiple teams.

You will work with VP and C-level stakeholders, manage governance, and lead data-driven decision making, while ensuring smooth handover to operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in strategic projects, programme/project delivery, strategy & operations, consulting, or a similar environment.
• A strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth technology, B2B SaaS or comparable business.
• Experience working confidently and independently with VP and C-level stakeholders, while being equally comfortable getting into the operational and technical detail.
• Strong project and programme management skills, including planning, critical paths, dependencies, risk management and governance.
• The ability to take an ambiguous problem or short verbal brief and turn it into a structured, executable plan.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working hands-on with data, numbers and spreadsheets to test whether a plan actually stacks up.
• Commercial understanding across areas such as pricing, contracts, revenue, margin or billing, with the ability to spot when something doesn't add up.
• The ability to understand how data, money, customers and processes move across different teams and systems, and identify potential downstream impacts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and hold people accountable without formal authority.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into practical, actionable messages for different audiences.
• A highly organised, self-directed approach and the ability to quickly get across complex, in-flight initiatives.
• A calm, pragmatic approach when priorities shift, timelines are tight and the stakes are high.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the COO and Strategic Operations to deliver high-priority, cross-functional strategic initiatives from strategy through to execution
• Turn ambiguous business goals into clear project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies and success measures
• Lead complex programmes end-to-end, keeping multiple workstreams aligned and moving against critical paths
• Coordinate across Customer Success, Onboarding, Support, Partnerships, Product & Engineering, Finance & Billing, Legal, Revenue Operations and other teams to ensure initiatives land smoothly
• Get into the detail when needed - analysing data, reconciling information across systems, sense-checking numbers and investigating operational or commercial issues
• Think end-to-end about how changes to pricing, contracts, data, systems or processes may impact billing, reporting, customers and other teams
• Identify risks, gaps and dependencies early, bringing clear facts, options and recommendations to the COO and senior stakeholders
• Run effective project governance, including stand-ups, check-ins, steering committees, risk and issue tracking, and decision logs
• Build clear, insight-led updates and executive materials that communicate progress, risks, trade-offs and actions
• Hold senior stakeholders and workstream owners accountable for delivery, even when you don't have direct authority over them
• Ensure new processes, systems and operational capabilities are ready before launch and hand over smoothly to the teams responsible for running them
