Job summary

BDO is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Queensland team, with opportunities in Brisbane, Cairns or Darwin. You will work across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and development projects, supporting clients from early-stage planning and business case development through to project delivery.

You’ll have the chance to take ownership of key workstreams across engagements including business cases, feasibility studies, commercial assessments and project delivery assignments, while guiding

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, commerce, engineering, economics or related discipline.
• Experience in consulting or infrastructure advisory.
• Experience contributing to complex infrastructure, investment or development projects.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to turn information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Strong written communication and report/presentation skills.
• Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders across government or private sector.
• Ability to manage own workstreams within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key workstreams across project and infrastructure advisory engagements.
• Undertake research, analysis and problem solving to support business cases and feasibility studies.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and client deliverables.
• Support project planning, budgets, schedules, risk management and progress reporting.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and support outcomes.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and tender submissions.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support and guide junior team members with Managers and senior leaders.
