Job summary

BDO is seeking a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager to join our Project & Infrastructure Advisory team in Australia. You will work with government and private sector clients to bring major initiatives to life.

You’ll contribute to commercial assessments, business cases, feasibility studies, and project delivery across diverse sectors, with opportunities across Queensland and Northern Australia. Our national team combines specialists across finance, economics, strategy and planning to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting or a related role, with exposure to government processes beneficial.
• Experience or interest in business case development, feasibility studies, project management or economic analysis.
• Ability to contribute effectively within multi-disciplinary teams on complex infrastructure or development projects.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own work and contribute to project delivery outcomes.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience across a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of project and infrastructure advisory engagements and project management services.
• Assisting in the coordination of engagements, including contributing to project plans, budgets, schedules, risk management and progress reporting.
• Working with senior team members on client engagements, preparing analysis, reports and deliverables.
• Contributing to business development activities, including research, proposal support and maintaining client relationships.
• Supporting the preparation of proposals and tender submissions.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting the development of junior team members where appropriate.
• Undertaking a range of project delivery activities to support the successful execution of engagements.
