Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Queensland and Northern Australia team in Brisbane, Cairns or Darwin. You will work across diverse infrastructure and development projects, taking ownership of workstreams from business cases to project delivery.

You will contribute to feasibility studies, commercial assessments and economic development initiatives, while guiding junior team members and collaborating with senior leaders to deliver client value.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, commerce, engineering or economics or a related discipline.
• Experience in consulting, infrastructure advisory, project advisory, government or a related environment.
• Experience contributing to business case development, feasibility studies, commercial analysis, project management or economic analysis.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workstreams and priorities within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key workstreams across project and infrastructure advisory engagements.
• Undertake research, analysis and problem solving to support business cases, feasibility studies and commercial assessments.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, recommendations and other client deliverables.
• Support project planning, budgets, schedules, risk management and progress reporting.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and support successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and tender submissions.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support and guide junior team members while working with Managers and senior leaders.
