Job summary

The role partners with business areas and shared services to deliver governance, policy development and practical guidance for compliant information management and data custodianship across the department.

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills to develop policies, guidance, programs and advice.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of data and information management policies, standards and capability uplift initiatives.
• Undertake research, analysis and environmental scanning to strengthen information management practices, capability and compliance.
• Prepare high-quality policies, briefs, reports and other materials for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Provide practical guidance to embed sustainable information management and data custodianship across the department.
• Support collaboration and governance activities, including communities of practice, guidance and training materials, and secretariat support for forums.
• Coordinate compliance activities and monitor risks, progress and improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with business areas and stakeholders to support consistent information and data management outcomes.
