Job summary

Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) is seeking an IT Contract Governance Officer to support ICT contracts and services valued at a substantial annual level. You will work with procurement specialists and a diverse team to drive strategic commercial outcomes in a government context.

The role emphasises policy development, contract governance, supplier performance management and risk mitigation across complex ICT programs.

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma/bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience in a Government/Education/Business setting.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate outcomes within deadlines.
• Understanding of ICT products, services and procurement and contract management considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ICT procurement policies, systems and procedures to achieve operational consistency.
• Maintain and engage in a small but proficient ICT Contract Governance team.
• Produce end-to-end supplier management documentation such as reports, processes and workflow documentation.
• Support contract award administration and issues management to sustain ICT hardware, software and services.
