Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service invites applications for an ICT Category Specialist in Software & Cloud. You will support major All of Government agreements, analyse spend and supplier data, and advise agencies on procurement strategies.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and technology suppliers to deliver value for money, manage risk and improve outcomes across government.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT procurement, category management or supplier management.
• Exposure to software, cloud, SaaS or tech procurement environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Experience reviewing contracts, pricing and supplier risks.
• Analytical with ability to handle complex data and spreadsheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to category management and sourcing strategies for Software and Cloud services.
• Support contract management, supplier performance reviews and negotiations.
• Analyse spend, market and supplier information to inform decisions.
• Help manage All of Government agreements and panels.
• Provide procurement guidance to NSW Government agencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve value and reduce risk.
• Support benefits realisation and governance activities.
