Job summary
The Department of Customer Service in NSW is seeking a Category Specialist for Software & Cloud to shape procurement of strategic software services. You will work with the Category Manager to manage All of Government agreements, panels and supplier relationships.
You will analyse markets and spend data, contribute to category strategies, support commercial negotiations and provide trusted procurement advice to agencies across government.
Qualifications
- Experience in ICT procurement, category management, contract management or supplier relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to category management and sourcing strategies for Software and Cloud services.
- Supporting contract management, supplier performance reviews and commercial negotiations.
- Analysing spend, market and supplier information to inform procurement decisions.
- Supporting the management of All of Government agreements and panels.
- Providing procurement guidance and advice to NSW Government agencies.
- Identifying opportunities to improve value, reduce risk and strengthen supplier performance.
- Contributing to benefits realisation, reporting and category governance activities.
