Job summary

Woolworths Group in Australia seeks a senior leader to drive end-to-end S&OP across the Meat division. You will coordinate cross-functional planning from farming to shelf, aligning strategies with executive priorities and market dynamics.

In this hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) you’ll develop long-range meat supply plans, optimize inventory, and lead transformational planning initiatives with IT and analytics support.

• Extensive experience leading IBP/S&OP in complex value chains.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end S&OP rhythm with executive oversight.
• Translate strategies into long-range meat supply plans.
• Optimize inventory targets, safety stock and manufacturing settings.
• Achieve cross-functional demand consensus across teams.
• Evaluate trade-offs and breakeven analyses for supply decisions.
• Align livestock plans with processing capacity and market dynamics.
• Determine optimal volume/mix for boxed meat with sourcing.
• Protect margins and service levels by managing stock imbalances.
• Communicate planning insights to executives and stakeholders.
• Partner with IT to implement advanced planning analytics.
