Job summary

Davidson partners with a Queensland Government organisation to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner (AO6). You will partner with leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR solutions that support government objectives and workforce outcomes.

The role focuses on employee relations, performance, recruitment, and workforce planning within a collaborative HR team. It offers a fixed-term appointment until 26 February 2027, with flexible working arrangements and a strong emphasis on people

Qualifications

• Proven HR business partnering experience in a complex environment.
• Experience advising leaders on employee relations, performance and workforce matters.
• Strong knowledge of HR governance and legislation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to provide expert HR guidance across relations, performance, recruitment and workforce matters.
• Guide on complex HR issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Support managers with performance, conduct, absenteeism and rehabilitation matters.
• Contribute to workforce strategies, HR policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate talent management, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives.
• Analyse workforce data to identify engagement and performance opportunities.
