Job summary

Department of Government Services in Melbourne, VIC is seeking experienced Senior HR Business Partners to provide strategic and expert HR advice to key stakeholders through a partnership model. You will coach leaders, drive workforce planning, and execute integrated HR strategies aligned with government policy and departmental priorities.

Qualifications

• Relevant HR qualification, or similar qualification, is highly desirable.
• There are 3 ongoing and 2 fixed term (back-fill) positions available.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level strategic HR advice and support to internal client groups.
• Coach senior leaders on complex HR issues following policy and awards.
• Develop partnerships with senior business leaders using workforce data.
• Assist in strategic workforce priorities, talent management and succession planning.
• Lead HR projects to support departmental priorities and transformation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance people management and wellbeing.
