Job summary

Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a skilled HR professional to support employees and leaders on HR matters, policy interpretation and employment conditions in a hybrid work environment. You will advise on EA interpretations, conduct workplace investigations and drive performance management and workforce development initiatives.

The role focuses on employee relations, coaching leaders, and collaborating to improve workplace culture and policy implementation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in a relevant HR discipline and some experience in HR or related roles.
• Experience in a generalist HR role within a diverse organization.
• Experience in employee relations and industrial relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely and specialist advice to employees and leaders on HR matters, policy interpretation, employment conditions and best practice.
• Establish coaching-based relationships with leaders to support performance, conduct, development and engagement.
• Provide expert guidance on Enterprise Agreements, employment law and organizational policy.
