Qualifications

• Degree in mining engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mine planning and operations.
• Open-cut coal mining planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of haulage plans and designs that support operational and business objectives.
• Shape and communicate the site's haulage strategy and planning direction.
• Mentor, coach and support haulage engineers and planning professionals, helping others grow and succeed.
• Work collaboratively across mine planning, technical and operational teams to optimise mining outcomes.
• Conduct haulage studies, modelling and scenario analysis to support informed decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning processes, systems and performance.
• Contribute to risk assessments, operational reviews and improvement opportunities.
• Champion safe planning practices and proactive risk management in all aspects of work.
