Job summary

Campus Living Villages is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead occupancy growth for our student accommodation community on the Gold Coast. The role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or the Gold Coast, with regular travel to the Gold Coast required.

You will report to the Head of Sales, build a pipeline from scratch, and secure group accommodation, bulk bookings and partnership agreements.

Qualifications

Proven success in business development, sales or partnership management.
Experience generating new business and building a pipeline from scratch.
Strong stakeholder engagement, networking and negotiation skills.
Commercially minded, proactive and results focused.
Ability to work independently while building strong relationships internally and externally.
Experience in education, student accommodation, hospitality, property, recruitment or other relationship-based services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to drive occupancy growth.
Build partnerships with universities, TAFEs, education providers, agents and other referral channels.
Generate, manage and convert a pipeline of new business opportunities.
Secure group accommodation, bulk booking and partnership agreements.
Conduct stakeholder meetings, presentations and site tours.
Identify market opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to achieve occupancy targets.
