Job summary

Coles Group is seeking a Senior Strategy professional to influence enterprise priorities and lead high-impact initiatives. You will shape corporate strategy, translate complex problems into actionable plans, and partner with senior executives to drive execution.

You’ll bring strong consulting or corporate strategy background, be adept at financial modelling, and mentor a high-performing team while communicating clearly across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in top-tier management consulting or a Group/Corporate Strategy function in a large organisation.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise-level strategies and delivering initiatives from concept to execution.
• Strong experience developing board/executive presentations and clear recommendations.
• Advanced analytical capabilities including hypothesis-driven problem-solving, financial analysis and modelling.
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of Coles Group's corporate strategy and priorities with senior executives.
• Apply hypothesis-driven analysis and financial modelling to develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Drive development and execution of the Group's corporate plan with measurable outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders as adviser, facilitating workshops to build alignment.
• Lead strategic projects end-to-end, managing deliverables and risks.
• Coach and develop a high-performing strategy team with structured thinking and clear communication.
