Job summary

Anduril Maritime seeks a Senior Account Director to manage engagements for the Dive-XL program in Australia, acting as the principal customer interface across the RAN, NSSG, and Commonwealth departments. You will translate customer intent into product direction while coordinating with Growth, Programs, and Engineering to shape and fund autonomous undersea capability.

Qualifications

• Operational background with sea service; submarine background preferred.
• Experience in capability manager, force design, or requirements role in Defence.
• Existing network across Navy, Defence and Australian undersea enterprise.
• Ability to translate complex concepts to varied audiences including engineers and senior officials.
• Allied exposure or overseas postings with credible standing.
• Working knowledge of Defence procurement processes (ASDEFCON).
• Technical depth on autonomy, mission systems, payloads and undersea employment concepts.
• Experience shaping investment cases and connecting capability decisions to funded programs.
• High ownership, bias for action, and ability to operate at pace in a defence context.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (~30%).
• Must obtain and maintain NV2 security clearance; TSPV desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engagement with RAN, NSSG, and Commonwealth sponsors and funders.
• Maintain a disciplined briefing cadence and capability forums across classified/unclassified environments.
• Serve as the Voice of the Customer between the client and Anduril, conveying intent clearly.
• Develop employment concepts and CONOPS for autonomous undersea capability in Australia.
• Distill operational analysis into prioritized capability needs for the Dive-XL roadmap.
• Support growth toward fleet scale and respond to Commonwealth market opportunities.
• Align contract execution with capability roadmap and escalate misalignments.
• Assist with trials, demonstrations and milestone events to ensure accurate representation.
• Represent Australian customer interests within the Dive-XL portfolio and share lessons internationally.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Programs, Contracts, Growth and Communications for coherence.
