Job summary

Mercy Community seeks an experienced Chief Governance, Risk & Research to provide strategic leadership across governance, risk, compliance, assurance, continuous improvement and research at our Nudgee office. Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation, with salary packaging available.

Reporting to the CEO, this role strengthens organisational governance, oversees risk frameworks, and ensures compliance, assurance and internal controls across aged care, families and young people,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and oversee governance frameworks and processes.
• Experience in risk, assurance, compliance and internal controls.
• Ability to provide strategic governance advice to executives and the Board.
• Familiarity with research governance and ethical considerations (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and oversee governance frameworks, policies and processes.
• Provide governance advice to the Board, CEO and senior leaders.
• Coordinate governance, risk, assurance information for oversight and reporting.
• Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Lead research governance and establish ethical and risk controls for research.
