Job summary

Mercy Community is seeking an experienced Chief Governance, Risk & Research to provide strategic leadership across governance, risk, compliance, assurance, continuous improvement and research from the Nudgee office in Brisbane. You will strengthen governance, oversee risk frameworks, ensure compliance and drive evidence-informed practice across aged care and services.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in governance, risk management, business, finance, accounting, research or related discipline (Desirable)
• Experience leading governance, risk and assurance functions across complex organisations
• Ability to influence Board and senior leaders on governance and risk matters

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee governance, risk and assurance frameworks and policies.
• Provide strategic governance advice to the CEO and Board committees.
• Coordinate risk reporting and internal controls across programs.
• Lead incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
