Job summary

ATCO Gas in Australia is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our high‑performing team in Jandakot, WA. You will partner with senior leaders to translate complex financial data into actionable insights that shape strategy and drive performance.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting for your portfolio, deliver robust analyses of cost drivers and margins, and support strategic decisions with strong modelling and governance enhancements.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, with CPA/CA accreditation.
Minimum 5 years’ FP&A or commercial finance experience.
Strong analytical and budgeting/forecasting capability.
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and ERP systems (Oracle/EPM/SAP).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in the energy sector and understanding of regulatory frameworks.
Knowledge of capital project accounting, WIP and fixed asset processes.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial advice to strengthen decision‑making, long‑term planning and organizational priorities.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting with clear commentary that informs leadership.
Deliver high-quality analysis on cost behaviour, key value drivers, margins and commercial trends.
Identify financial risks and opportunities and guide actions to improve performance.
Support business cases with robust modelling, scenario analysis and evaluation.
Build relationships across Finance and the business and uplift financial literacy and governance.
