Job summary

WesTrac in NSW is seeking a Financial Planning & Evaluation Analyst to join a high-performing finance team. In this commercially focused role, you'll shape strategic decision-making, deliver budgeting, forecasting and insightful financial analysis to support business performance.

You will partner with senior leaders and operational stakeholders, translate data into actionable insights, and contribute to continuous improvement across financial and operational performance within a fast-paced

Qualifications

CA/CPA with Commerce degree and 5–8+ years in financial planning or business partnering.
Experience in large, complex organisations.
Strong Excel and financial modelling with ERP exposure (SAP/Oracle).
Able to analyse large data sets to drive insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Proactive with continuous improvement focus.
Experience with AI tools desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting and medium-term planning processes.
Provide commercial insights and decision support to senior stakeholders and ELT.
Develop and maintain financial models across scenarios (Excel, SAP/Oracle).
Analyse financial and operational performance to identify key drivers, risks and opportunities.
Partner with cross-functional teams and present insights at forums including Integrated Business Reviews (IBR).
Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and advancement of analytics/BI capabilities.
