Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Sydney is seeking a Senior Business Finance Analyst to turn financial insight into strategic action, partnering with the business to steer budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

You will blend finance and strategy, drive value through data, collaborate with stakeholders, and help optimise resource allocation with ERP (SAP) and Power BI tools. Experience in FP&A within large international organisations and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field.
• Several years of experience in business finance, FP&A or similar analytical finance role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and data analysis, with advanced Excel and SAP experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; translating complex data for non-financial audiences.
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and drive to improve processes.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivering financial analysis, forecasting and business performance reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Partnering with business stakeholders to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for value creation.
• Supporting annual budgeting and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Preparing and presenting financial insights to senior leadership, translating data into clear recommendations.
• Driving continuous improvement of financial processes, tools and reporting to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Contributing to ad hoc financial projects and investment case evaluations as needed.
