Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Business Finance Analyst in Melbourne to partner with the business, delivering rigorous financial analysis, forecasting and performance reporting to guide strategic decisions.

You will support budgeting, long-range planning, and present insights to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear recommendations while driving continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field.
• Several years of experience in business finance, FP&A or similar analytical finance role in a large international organisation.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and data analysis with advanced Excel and SAP experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to present complex financial information.
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and drive to improve processes.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivering financial analysis, forecasting and performance reporting to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Partnering with stakeholders to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions and identify value opportunities.
• Supporting annual budgeting and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with priorities.
• Preparing and presenting financial insights to senior leadership with clear recommendations.
• Driving continuous improvement of financial processes, tools and reporting for accuracy and efficiency.
• Contributing to ad hoc financial projects and investment evaluations as needed.
