Job summary

HammondCare is hiring a Financial Controller in St Leonards, NSW, with hybrid work options. The role reports to the Deputy CFO and leads a team of 12+ professionals.

You will oversee financial accounting, reporting, internal controls, audits and statutory accounts, while ensuring compliance and robust financial processes. The ideal candidate has CA qualification, Big 4 background, and at least 2 years’ FC experience in a $300M+ revenue business, with strong modelling and business partnering

Qualifications

• CA qualified with Big 4 background.
• At least 2 years’ experience as Financial Controller in a business of at least $300M revenue.
• Strong financial and commercial modelling and analysis skills.
• Strong financial and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Month end accounts and variance analysis with business partners.
• Preparation of consolidated statutory financial statements.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits.
• Oversee statutory obligations and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets and forecasts for the Financial Control team.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the team.
• Lead and develop Financial Control team.
