Job summary

Whites Group, a family-owned Australian business, is seeking a Commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the finance function from our Central Office in Glendenning, NSW. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will drive financial reporting, budgeting and strategic decision support while developing a high-performing finance team.

You should bring 5+ years of experience across accounting, planning and commercial finance, with CA/CPA credentials or progress and experience with multi-entity

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise with commercial focus.
• Experience leading finance teams and building capability.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely management and financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance.
• Coordinate audit, taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Support strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Improve working capital, profitability and decision making.
• Automate finance processes and enhance management dashboards.
• Coach and develop the Finance team and contribute to SLT.
