Job summary

MIRAIT Technologies Australia is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the financial control function and provide clear commercial insight across the business. Reporting to the CFO, this is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, compliance, governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders, operational teams and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual financial reporting and consolidation with accurate statements.
• Ensure reporting meets divisional requirements and Australian Accounting Standards.
• Own annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes with senior leaders.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships and approvals.
• Ensure funding supports operational and capital needs.
• Provide clear analysis of performance, trends and risks for executives and board.
• Oversee group taxation and regulatory obligations with external advisers.
• Maintain internal control, governance and internal audit framework.
• Identify and deliver improvements across finance systems, reporting and processes.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team and promote continuous improvement.
