Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering within Global Technology Services in Sydney. You will lead the finance partnership for Core Platforms and Infrastructure, shaping commercial decisions and delivering forward-looking insights to executive leaders.

You will partner with Technology and Finance executives to drive planning, performance and financial governance across a complex portfolio, enabling scalable, strategic financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior finance business partnering experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong commercial, accounting and financial management capability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear, evidence-based challenge.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Solid understanding of financial control and balance sheet management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with governance focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, performance insights and financial control across Core Platforms and Infrastructure.
• Build trusted relationships with Executive Managers and senior Finance/Technology stakeholders.
• Own monthly management reporting and executive commentary.
• Translate data into insights, options and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Lead financial modelling and commercial assessment of plans and investments.
• Provide constructive challenge on cost, value and delivery outcomes.
• Oversee contract reviews and balance sheet ownership.
• Identify process and control improvements to increase efficiency.
