Job summary
Western Power is seeking a Finance Business Partner Team Leader in Perth to lead a high-performing team of 9 finance professionals. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic financial insight, drive governance, and enable informed investment decisions supporting customers and communities.
You will oversee end-to-end financial business partnering across the value chain, strengthen processes, and foster a culture of discipline and accountability while enabling career development
Qualifications
- Leadership experience driving high-performing teams.
- Experience in financial analysis, reporting and commercial finance.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
- Degree in Finance/Accounting with CA/CPA is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of 9 finance professionals.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic financial advice and governance.
- Drive financial discipline and enable informed investment decisions.
- Oversee end-to-end FP&A across the value chain, aligning strategy and execution.
- Support business cases with robust financial analyses and scenarios.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify value optimization opportunities.
- Champion process improvements and governance aligned with accounting practices.
