Michael Page is seeking a skilled Senior Finance Analytics Officer to join our growing finance analytics function. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative reporting solutions, enhance financial processes, and leverage Power BI, SQL and Azure to improve business performance.

You will translate complex data into actionable insights, influence senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement through analytics-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing complex datasets and translating business requirements into effective data models and reporting solutions.
• Advanced skills in business intelligence and data platforms such as Power BI, SQL, Azure, and data warehousing environments.
• Strong understanding of financial management practices, budgeting, reporting and business performance analysis.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships across a diverse organisation.
• A proactive approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and delivering outcomes

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop meaningful reporting and analytics solutions.
• Design and maintain data models, dashboards and business intelligence solutions that support financial decision-making.
• Analyse complex business and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Drive business improvement initiatives through the application of technology and analytics.
• Support and maintain technical BI environments to ensure availability and reliability of reporting solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders to enhance organisational analytics capability.
• Research emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices within data analytics and business intelligence.
