Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a Finance Data & Reporting Specialist to transform finance data, build scalable reporting, and support a global finance function.

This hands-on role focuses on implementing a new Management Data Platform, strengthening data governance, and delivering smarter, more automated Power BI solutions across Group Finance.

You'll combine accounting knowledge with technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and cloud analytics to drive insight and stakeholder value.

Qualifications

• Finance professional with data and reporting experience.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Finance and IT teams to implement and optimise a centralised data platform.
• Transform and reconcile data from multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, data models and reporting-ready datasets.
• Automate manual processes and improve monthly reporting and forecasting.
• Establish data standards, validation controls and governance frameworks.
• Lead solution delivery, testing and continuous improvement across Finance and IT.
