Job summary

Alcon is seeking a skilled Professional Education and Development partner in Australia to lead education strategy for eye healthcare professionals. You will collaborate with thought leaders, execute pre-launch education, and support key accounts with clinical and technical insights.

The role focuses on building trusted relationships with Eye Care Professionals, delivering high-quality presentations, and ensuring alignment with global education standards while adapting to local market priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: Undergraduate or Master's degree in Optometry required.
• Minimum 5 years clinical/optical practice or industry experience.
• Strong technical understanding of contact lens fitting and dry eye management.
• Desirable: outstanding presentations and public speaking skills.
• People and stakeholder management skills preferred.
• Results oriented team player with collaboration and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with Eye Care Professionals and key accounts to promote engagement.
• Provide education and technical support for Key Accounts as part of customer partnership teams.
• Adapt the international professional education strategy to local market priorities.
• Deliver content to support new product launches and strategic brands.
• Create and deliver education materials for multiple channels (face-to-face, virtual, digital).
• Plan and support Congresses and trade conferences with sponsorship and messaging.
• Engage thought leaders and influencers to inform business planning.
