Job summary

Alcon is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Professional Education and Development function in Australia. You will own the education strategy, build relationships with Eye Care Professionals, influencers, and key accounts, and drive content across face-to-face, virtual, and digital channels to support product launches and brand adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years clinical/optical practice or industry experience.
• Strong technical understanding and exposure to contact lens fitting and dry eye management.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality presentations.
• People and internal stakeholder management skills preferred.
• Results oriented team player, with strong collaboration and well-developed project management capabilities.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Professional Education and Development strategy aligned to local market priorities.
• Deliver education content across channels (face to face, virtual, digital).
• Lead pre-launch education and thought leader activation for New Product Launches.
• Support congresses and trade conferences with planning, messaging, and PR liaison.
• Manage partnerships with HCP influencers and thought leaders.
• Provide clinical/technical support to marketing, sales, regulatory and communications teams.
