Job summary

Country Fire Authority in Victoria is seeking an experienced events coordinator to deliver high-quality events through a collaborative, cross-portfolio approach. You will plan, track milestones and create templates and project plans to standardise major events.

The role involves managing end-to-end event delivery, building strong relationships with CFA brigades, regions and senior leadership, and occasionally traveling to Melbourne and regional areas. A valid driver’s licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications/events required or preferred.
• Experience delivering events with proven audience reach and outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end events coordination from design to delivery.
• Drafting progress and budget reports and delivery metrics; preparing approvals.
• Forming and maintaining strong relationships with CFA brigades, regions, senior leadership and other divisions.
• Some travel to Melbourne and regional areas; weekend/public holiday work may be required.
