Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Senior Strategic Engagement Officer to drive strategic engagement, marketing and content initiatives that connect the Academy with priority audiences. You will lead audience-focused practice, develop high-quality content and steward the Academy's brand across channels.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering and managing end-to-end strategic engagement, marketing and content initiatives.
• Strong audience engagement capability with the ability to apply audience insights and user experience principles.
• Highly developed communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end campaign strategy and delivery for priority campaigns.
• Develop and deliver campaigns, including audience fit, narrative design, channel approach, success measures, performance reporting and optimisation.
• Influence and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide editorial direction and quality assurance across campaign content, championing audience needs, accessibility and brand consistency.
• Act as the brand custodian, providing guidance and supporting the consistent application of the Academy's brand.
• Lead by example and provide guidance and support others on the team in campaign delivery.
• Monitor performance and refine campaigns using data and insights.
