Job summary

Department of Education Victoria in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Project Officer, Stakeholder Engagement. You will lead development and coordination of stakeholder engagement strategies and assets across the Academy, with a focus on executive stakeholders.

This fixed-term full-time role starts 01 January 2027 and runs to 31 December 2027. You will provide high-quality advice, ensure alignment of engagement activities, and develop engagement materials to strengthen relationships across education

Qualifications

• 5+ years stakeholder engagement experience is essential.
• Experience in coordinating complex projects.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Capacity to influence and advise senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and coordination of the Academy's internal and external stakeholder engagement strategies, plans, projects and activities.
• Providing high-quality advice to internal and external stakeholders to support and enable the stakeholder engagement function.
• Ensuring alignment and consistency of engagement activities across the Academy.
• Developing high-quality engagement materials and communications.
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and improve engagement approaches and practices.
