Department of Education Victoria is seeking an Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor for the Bayside Peninsula area. The role is a 0.5 FTE fixed-term position based in Frankston or East Bentleigh, commencing 26 October 2026 and ending 16 July 2027.

You will build partnerships, provide policy advice, and manage service agreements to support high-quality early childhood education and care for children and families.

Qualifikationen

• Desirable: tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or related field.
• Knowledge of early childhood sector and community development is desirable.
• Ability to contribute to service system planning, monitoring and funding allocation.

Aufgaben

• Provide advice and guidance to service providers to enable funded programs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Local Government and kindergarten service providers.
• Ensure all children and families have access to high quality early childhood education and care.
• Manage service agreements between the Department of Education and funded organisations.
• Support implementation of key government Early Childhood policy and reforms at the local level.
• Collaborate with Senior Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisors and the Branch team.
