Job summary

Department of Education Victoria in Melbourne is seeking an Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor (0.7 FTE, fixed-term) based in the Dandenong Office. Qualifications

• Desirable: a minimum of a tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related field.
• Current Working With Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to service providers to enable effective delivery of funded programs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Local Government and kindergarten service providers.
• Ensure that all children and families have access to, and participate in, high-quality early childhood education and care.
• Manage service agreements between the Department of Education and funded organisations to meet policy and funding requirements.
• Support the implementation of key government Early Childhood policy, initiatives, reforms, and strategies locally.
• Collaborate with Senior Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisors and the Early Childhood Improvement Branch team.
