Corpus Christi College Maroubra is seeking a Director of Teaching and Learning (3pt) to inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. This full-time, permanent role is temporary for up to 3 years as a 3-point promotion, with responsibilities across curriculum, data-driven improvement, and staff development.

• Proven strategic leadership in teaching and learning.
• Ability to lead professional learning, PLCs and PDPs.
• Expertise in curriculum planning and subject selection processes.
• Proven data literacy to drive continuous school improvement.
• Experience leading literacy and numeracy improvement strategies.
• Ability to mentor middle leaders and build capacity.
• Strong collaboration with wellbeing, IT, library, and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspire students through student-centered teaching within a Catholic environment.
• Provide strategic and instructional leadership to realise the college's mission and priorities.
• Coordinate Professional Learning Calendar and PLCs.
• Oversee staff PDPs and professional development.
• Lead whole-school literacy and numeracy improvement initiatives.
• Foster collaboration across leaders responsible for wellbeing, IT, library, etc.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting frameworks (NESA and SCS).
