Job summary

St Dominic’s College in New South Wales seeks an experienced Director of Teaching & Learning to join the College Leadership Team for 2027. You will lead teaching and learning across the College, champion explicit teaching, and drive professional learning and curriculum alignment with NESA requirements.

You will lead data-informed improvement, build staff capability, and broaden pathways for diverse student strengths and post-school destinations, including HSC planning.

Qualifications

• Educational leadership with a track record of improving student outcomes.
• Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and NESA requirements.
• Experience leading professional learning and school-wide improvement.
• Ability to translate research into classroom practice and drive data-informed decisions.
• Experience working with HSC programs and senior secondary learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of teaching and learning across the College.
• Lead professional learning that strengthens classroom practice and student achievement.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to shape curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
• Drive pathways and opportunities for diverse student strengths and aspirations.
