Job summary

University of New England in Armidale is seeking an accomplished senior leader to direct the Digital Education portfolio. The Interim Director will shape online education strategy, lead program development and collaborate with academic areas to drive education innovation.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent) with demonstrated senior leadership experience in the higher education sector.
• Demonstrated high-level experience in creating and implementing innovative digital based educational processes or programs across academic areas.
• Demonstrated ability to build a collaborative, team-based approach to educational excellence across academic and professional areas, fostering shared accountability for academic and student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Digital Education portfolio and oversee curriculum renewal activities.
• Provide strategic and operational direction for education innovation programs in consultation with academic areas.
• Oversee projects to improve digital education capability and confidence across the institution.
