Job summary

Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in Australia invites applications for the Director, IT Strategy and Architecture. Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology leadership designing, building and deploying enterprise solutions in complex cloud and on-premise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams and motivate others through effective interpersonal relationships.
• Experience delivering significant organisational change and dealing with uncertainty.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience designing, deploying and managing cloud solutions with familiarity in Azure and other Microsoft cloud offerings.
• Clear, concise and articulate oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate.
• High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with resilience and commitment to personal development; relevant industry certifications.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors and Government environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled professionals to develop and sustain ACCC’s architecture and infrastructure ecosystem.
• Define current state, transition states and target state solution architectures for projects and current business problems that align with organisational strategies.
• Provide overall technical leadership to project teams in terms of the end-to-end solution, ensuring all facets of the designs and technologies are integrated.
• Actively engage with project teams to ensure compliance with architecture.
