Job summary

Australian Competition & Consumer Commission in Brisbane seeks a Director, IT Strategy and Architecture within the IMTS division. Lead and mentor a team to define current, transition and target-state architectures across data, applications and technology landscapes, integrating Microsoft cloud and on‑premises environments.

You will align IT strategies with organisational goals, drive architecture governance, and provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring the end-to-end solution

Qualifications

• Extensive technology leadership experience designing, building and deploying enterprise solutions in cloud and on‑premise environments (5+ years).
• Experience leading high‑performing teams with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Experience delivering large organisational change and managing uncertainty.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in designing, deploying and managing cloud solutions, especially Microsoft cloud offerings (Azure).
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to influence and negotiate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of professionals to develop and sustain ACCC’s architecture and infrastructure ecosystem.
• Define current state, transition states and target state architectures for projects and business problems.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams for end-to-end solutions; ensure designs and technologies are integrated.
• Engage with project teams to ensure architecture compliance.
