Job summary

ACCC is seeking a Director, IT Strategy and Architecture to lead the Information Management Technology Services (IMTS) branch within the Data, Digital & Technology Division. You will shape current, transition and target state architectures across business, data, application and technology domains, coordinating Microsoft cloud and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise solutions in complex cloud and on-premise environments.
• Experience leading high performing teams and inspiring others.
• Experience delivering significant organisational change that requires initiative and handling uncertainty.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience designing, deploying and managing cloud solutions, with familiarity in Azure and other Microsoft cloud offerings.
• Clear, concise and articulate oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate.
• High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with resilience and personal development.
• Relevant industry certifications.
• Desirable: experience in highly regulated sectors and Government environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of professionals to develop and sustain ACCC’s architecture and infrastructure ecosystem.
• Define current state, transition states and target state solution architectures for projects and current business problems that align with organisational strategies.
• Provide overall technical leadership to project teams in terms of the end-to-end solution, ensuring designs and technologies are integrated.
• Actively engage with project teams to ensure compliance with architecture.
