Job summary

Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) in Darwin seeks a Director, EL2, Data, Digital and Technology to lead IT strategy and architecture across cloud and on‑premises environments. You will guide current, transition and target state architectures while shaping technology delivery.

You will mentor a high‑performing team, collaborate with project teams to ensure architectural compliance, and drive strategic IT initiatives within a dynamic public sector setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive technology leadership experience with at least 5 years designing, building, and deploying enterprise solutions in cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams and inspire others through strong interpersonal relationships.
• Experience delivering significant organisational change requiring initiative and adaptability.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience designing, deploying and managing cloud solutions, with familiarity in Azure and other Microsoft cloud offerings.
• Clear, concise, and articulate communication, with ability to influence, persuade and negotiate.
• Relevant industry certifications.
• Experience in highly regulated government environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of professionals to develop and sustain ACCC’s architecture and infrastructure ecosystem.
• Define current state, transition states and target state architectures for projects and business problems aligned with strategy.
• Provide overall technical leadership to project teams for end‑to‑end solutions and integrated designs.
• Engage with project teams to ensure architecture compliance.
