Job summary

Levande is seeking a Senior Development Finance Manager to shape financial planning across a significant development portfolio and influence executive decisions. You will lead a finance team, integrate project economics with portfolio strategy, and partner across Development, Finance and Treasury to drive accurate reporting and strategic capital allocation.

You will oversee development accounting, ensure robust controls, and provide clear insights for Board discussions.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in project accounting, development finance, property finance, FP&A or commercial finance within a capital-intensive environment.
Advanced feasibility modelling skills, including IRR, NPV, development margins, cash flow, valuation and scenario analysis.
Strong understanding of development accounting, project cost governance, capitalisation and portfolio funding.
Proven ability to lead finance professionals and influence senior Development and Executive stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills, supported by strong financial control, reconciliation and data disciplines.

Responsibilities

Lead development finance planning, portfolio analysis and commercial partnering.
Oversee development accounting and reporting for the portfolio.
Provide movement analysis, scenario modelling and recommendations for capital allocation and project sequencing.
Coordinate inputs into Project Performance Reviews and align assumptions across budgets and forecasts.
Strengthen general ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation.
Develop and mentor the finance team, and collaborate with Finance Systems, Treasury and Financial Control to improve models and data quality.
Coordinate information for auditors, valuers, lenders and external advisers; respond to investor reporting queries.
