Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Manager to join the Development Finance team in Sydney. The role reports to the Head of Finance and focuses on accurate management reporting, insightful analysis, and strategic commentary for executive decision-making.

You will lead consolidation, commentary, and packs for boards while ensuring data integrity and driving commercial insights beyond the numbers.

Qualifications

10 years’ experience in financial control, management accounting, or reporting.
Strong expertise in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Property development finance experience preferred.
Proven ability to deliver commercial insight beyond the numbers.
Advanced financial analysis and variance explanation skills.
Confident partnering with senior leaders and executives.
High proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly and annual management reporting consolidation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, variance analysis).
Prepare performance commentary on key drivers, trends, and risks.
Assist in producing executive and board‑level reporting packs.
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information across reporting cycles.
Deliver ad‑hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Reconcile capital and cash across the current forecast and five‑year plan.
Support year‑end investor reporting.
