Zusammenfassung

Visy seeks an experienced Customer Demand Planner to join the Glass Planning team in Melbourne. You will forecast customer demand across roughly 200 SKUs, four plants and five distribution centres, aligning commercial and supply plans.

You will work with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Planning to improve forecast accuracy, manage demand variability, and support Visy's IBP/S&OP processes. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in demand planning, ideally within an FMCG environment.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques and statistical modelling.
• Experience with IBP/S&OP processes and cross-functional planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with commercial acumen.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts across short- and long-term planning horizons.
• Collaborate with customers and Sales to align forecasts using data and market insights.
• Lead demand reviews and contribute to monthly IBP/S&OP and weekly planning processes.
• Identify demand risks, supply gaps and opportunities, recommending solutions that balance service, inventory and cost.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias and aged stock, driving continuous improvement.
• Communicate forecast changes and demand priorities across Supply Planning, Customer Service and commercial teams.
• Maintain accurate planning data and support improvements to forecasting systems and processes.
